My Story – Uterine (Endometrial) Cancer: What do Gatsby, Miss Piggy, and the Devil have in common?

 Me! We all share the same birthday.

Lucky me. I got to turn 62 today, surrounded by a peach-colored halo reminding me that almost anything—even uterine cancer—can be a blessing in disguise. 

This is the only adult birthday I’ve had within reach of memory that I haven’t minded . . . one bit.

No profound thoughts. Just gratitude to be able to post this message.

Francis Scott Key Fitzgerald, born September 24, 1896, photographed in 1937—just three years before this  famous member of the “Lost Generation” died—and the cover of the first edition of his Jazz Age masterpiece published in 1925. Click the images for more.
